Senior Mental Health Clinician- LAC, LSW, LAMFT, LCSW, LPC, LMFT- NJ

We are seeking a Senior Clinician to join our team!

It Takes a Family (ITAF), is a dynamic social service organization seeking a hard-working individual to function in a demanding Senior Clinician position at any of our select locations. This position requires extreme attention to detail, the ability to multitask as well as excellent networking ability.

ITAF is a State licensed Outpatient mental health facility with locations in Cinnaminson, Bridgeton, Lawrenceville, Galloway, Pennsville and East Orange NJ.

Salary: $58000-$62000

JOB DUTIES:
●Develop and implement individual treatment plans, specifying type, frequency, intensity, and duration.
●Evaluate the effectiveness of counseling or treatments, the accuracy and completeness of diagnoses, and modification of plans and diagnoses as necessary.
●Identify psychological, emotional, or behavioral issues, and diagnose disorders, using information obtained from interviews, tests, records, and reference materials.
●Interact with clients to assist them in gaining insight, defining goals, and planning action to achieve effective personal, social, educational, and vocational development and adjustment.
●Observe individuals at play, in group interactions, or in other contexts to detect indications of mental deficiency, abnormal behavior, or maladjustment.
●Obtain and study medical, psychological, social, and family histories, by interviewing individuals, couples, or families, and by reviewing records.
●Utilize a variety of treatment methods such as psychotherapy, hypnosis, behavior modification, stress reduction, therapy, psychodrama, and play therapy
●Refer clients to other specialists, institutions, or support services as necessary.
●Complete required documentation on clients, and maintain accurate paperwork.
●Prepare and maintain all required treatment records and reports
●Develop, direct, and participate in training programs for staff and students.
●Direct, coordinate, and evaluate activities of staff and interns engaged in patient assessment and treatment
●Provide ongoing guidance and support to team members using our CORE values: Collaboration, Accountability, Respect and Initiative
●Other duties as assigned

Must haves
●Masters Level in Social Work or Psychology or any other related mental health field
●Minimum of Two years of supervisory experience in an administrative role
●Valid NJ LSW, LAMFT, LAC
●The desire to passionately serve clients in an outpatient clinical setting
●Ability to work from 10am-6pm
●Ability to hold a caseload while supervising in order to have hours towards supervision
●Strong administrative skills
●Strong problem solving and group work leadership skills
●Ability to work independently and as part of a team
●Independent License preferred not required
